Administrators are the core team responsible for maintaining and developing Goat World's infrastructure, enforcing community guidelines, and ensuring the platform runs smoothly. They handle technical operations, moderation, system administration, and strategic decisions.
Role & Responsibilities
Technical Operations
- • Maintain and develop the website, bot, API, and database
- • Monitor system performance and uptime
- • Implement new features and improvements
- • Handle technical issues and bug fixes
Community Moderation
- • Enforce the Code of Conduct
- • Handle reports and disputes
- • Manage bans and sanctions
- • Ensure a healthy community environment
Strategic Planning
- • Set platform direction and priorities
- • Plan major events and initiatives
- • Coordinate with community leaders
- • Make policy decisions
Community Support
- • Respond to member inquiries
- • Resolve technical and gameplay issues
- • Support judges and community leaders
- • Facilitate communication between staff
What We Look For

Technical Skills (for Technical Admins)
Experience with web development (Node.js, React, TypeScript, Next.js), database management (PostgreSQL, Prisma), Discord bots, or API development. Familiarity with our tech stack is a plus but not required—we value learning ability.

Community Management Skills (for Community Admins)
Strong communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills. Experience moderating online communities, handling disputes fairly, and maintaining a positive environment.
