How to Save Your First Deck
Build Your Deck

Export as YDKE
Export your deck as a YDKE URL. In EDOPro, right-click the deck and select "Copy Deck (YDKE)". In Dueling Book, use the Export button.
Use /deck save Command
In Discord, type /deck saveand fill in:
- โข Deck Name: A memorable name (e.g., "Goat Control", "Chaos Turbo")
- โข YDKE URL: Paste the full ydke:// URL you copied
Confirmation
The bot will confirm your deck is saved and show you a preview with the main deck count, extra deck count, and side deck count.
Done!
Your deck is now saved and ready to use for ladder matches, tournaments, and challenges. Access it anytime with /deck view.
Deck Organization Best Practices
Use Descriptive Names
Name your decks clearly: "Goat Control - Tournament", "Chaos Aggro - Testing", "Warriors - Ladder". This helps you find the right deck quickly.
Update Regularly
When you make changes to a deck, save it again with the same name to update it. Keep your collection current with your latest builds.
Organize by Purpose
Create separate versions for different purposes: one for ladder, one for tournaments, one for casual play. Tag them accordingly in the name.
Keep Backups
Save your YDKE codes in a text file or notes app as backup. This protects you if you accidentally delete a deck.
Test Before Saving
Always test your deck in EDOPro or Dueling Book before saving. Verify card counts and legality to avoid issues during matches.
Clean Up Old Decks
Periodically review your deck list and delete outdated or unused decks. Keep your collection manageable and easy to navigate.
Advanced Deck Features
Quick Deck Selection
When registering for tournaments or ladder matches, you can select from your saved decks using autocomplete. Just start typing the deck name and the bot will suggest matches.
Deck Statistics
Track your performance with each deck! The system automatically logs wins, losses, and rating changes for each deck you use in competitive play.
Share Decks with Friends
Use /deck view to display your deck in chat. The YDKE URL will be shown, making it easy for friends to copy and try your builds.
Common Questions
How many decks can I save?
There's no hard limit on saved decks, but we recommend keeping your collection organized and manageable. Most players maintain 3-5 active decks.
Can I edit a saved deck?
Yes! Just use /deck save with the same deck name and a new YDKE URL. The old version will be replaced.
What happens if I delete my deck by mistake?
Unfortunately, deck deletions are permanent and cannot be undone. Always keep backup copies of your YDKE codes in a separate location (notes app, text file, etc.).
Can other players see my saved decks?
No, your deck collection is private. Only you can view and manage your saved decks. However, if you share a YDKE code in chat, others can see that specific deck.
